We are in the process of doing a skit for our Little Theater with GunSmoke characters. .In researching on the internet, I find that James Arness was born in Minnesota. .I have been told by several people he was born in New York State in a small town named "Gravesville" after his family (near Utica). .Which is correct? .This is just some trivia I am interested in - can you help??
