Hi Alice,
Michael Learned, who played Ma on "The Waltons", was the only woman Matt Dillon ever kissed during its 20 year run. .(No - he never kissed Kitty). .It was in a TV episode dubbed "Matt's Love Story". .During the affair, Dillon, of course, had hit his head and lost his memory. .The story is revived years later in the Gunsmoke movie series where Dillon finds his love Mike, the single lady rancher's name, bore him a daughter, Beth. .Michael Learned returned to revive her role in the movie.
