Return to Gunsmoke Front Page

Question: When did the character Chester leave Gunsmoke and why don't the episodes with his character ever air?

Also, I want to tell you that I am a westerns fan and a member of Self Realization Fellowship (The one Dennis Weaver belongs to). It is not a cult, and is nondenominational in nature. We believe in the oneness of all religions. Anyone can become a member regardless of their faith and learn meditation techniques that will help them feel closer to God, whatever their concept of God may be. The founder of Self Realization Fellowship left teachings and called upon the ideals found in all the world religions. The founder was himself raised in the Hindu faith. I can't think of any spicific link to Abraham or Zoraster. In the services we call upon Christ, Krishna and the line of Gurus preceeding Paramhansa Yogananda (the founder).

Thank you. Kitty Freeman

Webmaster note: A belief that believes "in the oneness of all religions" violates logic's law of noncontradiction. Nearly all faiths claim exclusivity. How can Faith A includes Faith B when Faith B claims (1) Faith B is exclusive and (2) Faith A is wrong? Truth, by its nature is VERY exclusive.
